Strict Timelines

No vague estimates. Every stage of the project has a fixed date. We believe that predictability is the foundation of a successful business relationship, which is why we provide a clear timeline based on your exact scope.

Website in 4 weeks. Fast-tracked delivery.

Perfect for landing pages and simple business sites. We move fast, but we never skip crucial steps:

  • Week 1: We dive deep into your business, study your core processes, and map out the user experience (UX). We create a "blueprint" (wireframe) so you can see the layout and logic before we add colours.
  • Week 2: UI Design. We apply your brand identity, colours, and typography to make the blueprint look stunning and professional.
  • Week 3: Development. We write the clean code and build the actual working website.
  • Week 4: We populate the site with your content, rigorously test everything on all devices, and launch it on your live hosting.

Corporate sites & e-commerce (Up to 8 weeks)

For robust corporate websites, specialised product catalogues, and fully custom online stores, the development cycle typically takes up to 8 weeks. Complex projects require a solid foundation, so we never rush the planning. Here is exactly what you can expect during our collaboration:

  • Deep Dive & Blueprinting: We start by immersing ourselves in your business model. We map out the entire user journey and create interactive wireframes so you can click through a skeleton of your future site before we even think about colours.
  • UI/UX Design: Once the blueprint is approved, our design team brings it to life with tailored, high-converting visual concepts that capture your brand's unique identity.
  • Architecture & Coding: We hand-code your website from the ground up for maximum speed and security, integrating it into a powerful CMS so you can manage your own content later.
  • Content, Testing & Launch: We upload your initial content, rigorously test every button, form, and page on real devices, then deploy the site and hand over the keys.

This structured approach removes all guesswork. You are kept in the loop at every major milestone, ensuring the final digital asset is exactly what your business needs to grow.

Complex platforms & mid-sized stores (Up to 3 months)

When dealing with complex catalogue websites, large corporate portals, or mid-sized e-commerce operations, the stakes are significantly higher. The core development stages remain the same, but the volume of data and custom business logic requires up to 3 months of dedicated engineering.

To ensure these large-scale projects perform flawlessly under heavy load, we implement a modern Headless Architecture — completely separating the frontend your customers interact with from the backend database and management system.

For the visual layer, we build blazing-fast, app-like experiences using Next.js or a Shopify Headless setup. For the backend, we utilise a robust Headless CMS like Strapi to manage your data securely.

Why is this superior to a classic CMS? By decoupling the frontend, your site achieves near-instant load times for maximum SEO performance, hides your database from public-facing security threats, and offers limitless scalability.

Custom MVP & Agile Development

Innovation demands flexibility. While we typically advocate for Fixed Price contracts, launching a new startup or MVP requires a different approach. We offer a highly transparent Time & Material (T&M) engagement model for dynamic projects.

Under this model, we work via the Scrum framework with a small, dedicated team in short to medium sprints, rapidly building core features and adapting scope as your product evolves.

Technologically, we remain uncompromising on performance: Next.js for blazing-fast frontends, with the architectural flexibility of Laravel or Node.js to power a robust, scalable backend.

Clear Process & Pricing

We believe in complete financial transparency. While unexpected costs and "scope creep" can sometimes happen in web development, we have structured our process to eliminate these surprises entirely. We never guess the final cost — we calculate it based on a clear, agreed-upon foundation.

The Brief & Prototypes

Every collaboration begins with a Project Brief — a foundational document, completed independently by you, that formally outlines your business objectives, target audience, and functional requirements. Our team is readily available to assist with technical questions.

Based on the brief, we create Prototypes of the application's page templates. For standard projects, these approved templates are usually sufficient to start development. For complex applications, we also develop a comprehensive Scope of Work (SOW). Only when the full scope is crystal clear do we provide the final, fixed price and sign the contract.

Payment Structure: Simple vs. Complex

For standard solutions (landing pages, simple corporate sites, basic online storefronts), payment terms are straightforward: 50% upfront to begin, and the remaining 50% upon completion when the site is filled with test content.

For complex solutions (mid-to-large e-commerce platforms, extensive catalogues, custom portals), payments are split into three milestones due to the larger scale (30% / 30% / 40%): the initial 30% after SOW approval, the next 30% after design implementation, and the final 40% after test content is populated.

Your Intellectual Property is Yours. Upon final payment, full and unencumbered ownership of the source code, all custom design assets, and the domain name is transferred directly to you. We want you to stay with us because you love the quality of our work, not because you are legally locked in.

Important Things to Know

Domains & Hosting: Before your website can go live, you will need a Domain Name and Hosting. If you don't already have them, as long as we have a signed contract, we provide free consulting to help you choose and purchase the right plan.

What is "Test Content"? When we reach the final stage of development, we use a small sample of your actual, real-world content to prove the site functions perfectly — not meaningless placeholder text.

Often, clients face unexpected delays in gathering all their final photos and texts. By launching the site with a test volume of content, we avoid indefinitely stalling the project, finalise the technical build and settle the final invoice, then give you up to 4 months of flexibility to gather your remaining materials without pressure.

Warranty & Care Plans

Launching your website is just the beginning of our partnership. Every project we deliver comes with a 4-Month Warranty. During this period, we guarantee to fix any technical bugs or issues related to our work completely free of charge.

Once the warranty period ends, maintaining a fast and secure website requires ongoing technical attention. To ensure your digital asset remains secure, blazingly fast, and completely up-to-date, you can opt into our post-warranty Maintenance & Care Plans.

What Our Care Plans Include

  • Enterprise-grade Hosting & Uptime: dedicated, high-performance servers guaranteeing 99.9% uptime and lightning-fast loading speeds — critical for both engagement and SEO rankings.
  • Bulletproof Security & Backups: your entire database and file system are automatically backed up every 24 hours to secure, off-site cloud storage, with active round-the-clock monitoring against malware, DDoS attacks, and vulnerabilities.
  • Your On-Demand Digital Team: just send us new content or a few bullet points, and our team handles all the formatting, optimisation, and updates for you.

Our Care Packages

Depending on your business needs, we offer flexible levels of ongoing support (see our Pricing page for full details):

  • Care Basic (€80 / mo): premium enterprise hosting, daily backups, continuous 24/7 security monitoring, and up to 1 hour per week (4 hours per month) for content updates.
  • Care Pro (€150 / mo): everything in Basic, plus an additional 4 hours every month dedicated to Google's official SEO best practices, plus a detailed monthly SEO performance report.
  • Care Partner (Custom Pricing): for high-volume digital needs — we act as your dedicated digital department for an agreed monthly retainer.

What can we achieve in 1 hour of content updates?

The volume of work depends entirely on the state of the media you provide:

  • High Volume (Ready Assets): pre-processed photos and finalised text or bullet points (expanded using AI) — enough to publish multiple articles, a fresh gallery, or new product pages.
  • Medium Volume (Light Processing): basic cropping and web optimisation, or compressing/converting raw video for playback — a moderate amount of media within the hour.
  • Low Volume (Heavy Editing): complex Photoshop retouching may yield only a few highly-polished photos in an hour.

Important Note on Hosting: when you sign a maintenance contract with us, it automatically includes Premium Hosting. We act as your dedicated intermediary between you and the enterprise server providers, taking 100% responsibility for your website's uptime, speed, and health.

Grant consultation

TOV Grant (€2,500)

The Trading Online Voucher (TOV) is a government grant provided by the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) to help small Irish businesses grow online. It covers 50% of your digital development costs, up to a strict maximum of €2,500.

Core Eligibility Criteria

  • Team Size: 10 or fewer employees (sole traders and 1-person businesses are fully eligible).
  • Trading History: Trading for at least 6 months prior to application.
  • Turnover: Annual turnover of less than €2 million.
  • Location: Registered within the jurisdiction of your local LEO.

What Can The Voucher Be Used For?

The grant must be used to upgrade your digital capabilities and generate revenue (not for basic "brochure" sites). Eligible costs include:

  • E-commerce website development or upgrades.
  • Online booking, reservation, or subscription systems.
  • Secure online payment gateways.
  • SEO strategies and digital marketing campaigns.

Agency Requirements

To be approved, your chosen vendor must be a registered business, provide a Tax Clearance Certificate, and supply granular itemised quotations. We are fully compliant with all LEO requirements.

How The Math Works

The grant covers 50% of eligible costs up to €2,500. You pay the agency in full during development, and the LEO reimburses you their share upon completion.

  • €1,000 Project: The grant covers €500. Your net cost is €500.
  • €3,000 Project: The grant covers €1,500. Your net cost is €1,500.
  • €6,000 Project: The 50% match is €3,000, but capped at the maximum. You receive €2,500 back. Your net cost is €3,500.

How We Guide You

We take the friction out of the application process. We provide the mandatory, highly detailed, itemised technical quotations required by the LEO, and ensure you receive all proper invoices and proof-of-work documents to seamlessly claim your €2,500 refund.

Grant Risk Protection: final approval is strictly at the government's discretion. However, if we officially agree to proceed with your project under the expectation of the grant, and it gets rejected for reasons beyond your control, we will refund the entire amount that was planned to be compensated through the grant. We share the risk with you.

Your involvement: minimum. Our result: maximum.

Kickoff & Strategy

A successful project begins with absolute clarity. Our first step is a strategic discovery session — conducted either in-person, over the phone, or via video call. Prior to or during this session, we ask you to complete a Project Brief — a straightforward questionnaire that captures your core business goals, technical requirements, and design preferences. During this meeting, we gather a comprehensive understanding of your business, focusing on your specific pain points and the challenges your customers face. Following our conversation, our team conducts deep independent research to analyse your market niche, competitors, and target audience.

Based on this information, we create the foundational blueprint for your project. For standard websites, we build structural prototypes (wireframes) of all typical pages. For large projects and platforms, we draft a comprehensive Technical Specification (SOW), including prototypes of all typical pages, a detailed description of every functional feature, and comprehensive User Flows.

After gathering all the initial data, our team gets to work on creating your Prototype or SOW. Once it is ready, we present the result to you for review. If everything looks perfect, you approve it, and this document becomes the strict foundation for the next stage — the visual design. This approved result guarantees accurate costs and fixed development deadlines.

Discovery Session: We discuss your business goals, target audience, and market competitors.

The Deliverable: We create a clear visual layout or a step-by-step technical plan showing exactly how your project will work.

Approval & Contract: We tweak the plan until you love it. Then we sign a contract that locks in the exact cost and deadlines.

Behind the Agency

We don't just build websites. We build partnerships.

Webshed was born from a genuine desire to change how web development is done for small and medium businesses. When we first started, we noticed a frustrating trend: hardworking local business owners were being overcharged for generic, copy-paste templates, or worse — they were left completely in the dark the moment their website went live.

Living and working in Ireland taught us one crucial lesson: business here isn't just about transactions. It's built on community, trust, and a solid handshake. We realised that local businesses didn't need another faceless tech company talking in corporate jargon. They needed a dedicated technical partner they could actually trust.

That's exactly how we run our agency today. We value your time, so we keep our communication fast, flexible, and always accessible — whether you prefer a quick chat on WhatsApp or a scheduled call. We don't hide behind confusing tech jargon. We speak your language, listen to your goals, and build custom, high-performing websites designed to generate real revenue.

But launching a great website isn't even half the job we set out to do. Our ultimate goal is to take your digital products on for long-term maintenance, effectively becoming your dedicated, remote IT department. We handle the technical heavy lifting, security, and updates, so you can focus entirely on running your business.

  • No Templates or Hidden Fees. We build custom solutions from scratch, tailored entirely to your business goals. You always know exactly what you are paying for, with transparent pricing and zero unpleasant surprises along the way.
